Malcolm Harrison

After 10 years of teaching, Malcolm chose to retrain in accountancy. He joined the British Railways Board and rose to become the Procurements Manager for Great Western Trains Ltd, managing a budget in excess of £30million. It was while working for British Rail in 1995 Malcolm was awarded a Travelling Fellowship from the Winston Churchill memorial trust. Malcolm at that time was the Materials Manager at Laira Maintenance Depot where he was responsible for the training and education of over 20 storekeepers. He was developing an NVQ qualification for Railway storekeepers across the whole British Rail network. Malcolm’s fellowship was in the Category of Training and Industry and he visited Railway and other public transport providers in Hong Kong, Australia and the United States of America.
In 2009 Malcolm became a Fellow of Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce; (FRSA) and he is currently the Honorary Treasurer of the SW Region. Malcolm is an Assocoate member of the Insitute of Certified Book Keepers. He has achieved many things and has an innovative mind which he tries to use for the benefit of his friends and clients.
